The IV Rheinsberg Opera Workshop is under preparation. The participants have been selected among 20 candidates in December 2008. In August 2009 they met to a first workshop in Rheinberg.

Friends of the opera workshop set up

In January 2010 the Friends of the opera workshop at the Schloss Rheinsberg Chamber Opera has set up.

Founding members are:
Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Ulrich Battis, Prof. Siegfried Matthus, Carin Marquardt, Hermann Bäumer, Cornelia Heger, Soren Nils Eichberg, Detlev Glanert, Ingo Inge Sand.

As Chairman, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Ulrich Battis chosen for Vice. Chairman Prof. Siegfried Matthus.

The aim of the association is to help through membership and donations to ensure continued funding of the project's opera workshop.
